Stage 1
All referrals must be made via an initial phone call to:
Referral Administration - Tel: 020 7735 2062, if appropriate, preliminary personal details will be taken down. If you meet the criteria above then an application form will be sent by post.
Stage 2
Once the completed form is returned and all requested information is gathered your application and an initial assessment of your support needs will be made by the Referral Panel. Applicants that fit the eligibility criteria will be offered an interview. The interview will normally take place within 2 or 3 weeks.
Stage 3
At the interview you will be asked to discuss in depth your support needs and previous housing history. After the interview your application will be considered by the referral panel who meet and if successful placed on our waiting list. If you are unsuccessful then we will send you a letter with details of other organisations that may be able to help.
Stage 4
Once you are placed on the waiting list, an offer of accommodation will depend on where you have chosen to live and what level of support you require, this can be between 1 and 6 months. Once we have a suitable property one of Eaves’ Housing Officers will contact you to come and see it. It is important that you respond as quickly as possible , otherwise you risk being moved down the list or taken of all together.
Appealing a decision
If you are unhappy with the decision of your interview, you have the right to appeal in writing to the Supported Housing Team Manager who can be contacted on 020 7735 2062.
