Young women's service

The Young Women’s Service aims to prevent young women between the ages of 16-24 from becoming homeless, by empowering them with the information, skills and confidence they need to fulfil their potential and take control of their lives.

We offer support and advice around housing options, accessing benefits, health, training and employment. We also offer an outreach service and run relaxed group workshops around:

  • Independent living skills;
  • Identifying goals and accessing education, training and employment within your community;
  • Health and personal wellbeing.

It is appointment-only and operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 5.30pm.
.

Referrals

Young women can refer themselves, and we also accept referrals from other agencies and support services.

How can I access the Young Women’s Service?

If you live in Barking & Dagenham, Kensington & Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Wandsworth or Westminster you could be eligible for the service.
