LEA Project
The LEA Project (London Exiting Action Project) provides advice and assistance to women in London who are involved in prostitution. Services include:
- Information and signposting;
- Training to provide women with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to exit prostitution successfully;
- Access to specialist counselling;
- Access to the Freedom Programme, which empowers women to improve the quality of their lives through an understanding of violence and abuse;
- Access to a range of opportunities, including education, volunteering, training and employment;
- Advice regarding welfare, legal and housing rights;
- Advice for other agencies working with women involved in prostitution on exiting strategies.
