Education and Training
POPPY provides specialist training and contributes to conferences and roundtable discussions worldwide. Training and presentations are delivered to the following groups and organisations:
- women’s groups and agencies in the UK and overseas who come into contact with women working in the sex industry
- police and law enforcement officers in the UK and overseas
- immigration officials and London-based case-owners making asylum decisions within the New Asylum Model
- healthcare professionals including GPs, nurses and sexual health clinics
- domestic violence services professionals, including Women’s Aid national conferences.
