MIND information on services supporting lesbian, gay and bisexual mental health needs

There is a lack of research into the needs of lesbians, gay men and bisexual men and women who are involved in mental health services - as users, carers, professionals; in community and institutional settings and in voluntary, statutory and private provision. Most studies come from the USA. In 1997 Mind produced a report entitled Without Prejudice. The aim of this work was to consult lesbian, gay and bisexual users of mental health services.
