FORWARD (the Foundation for Women's Health Research and Development)
FORWARD focuses on the elimination of harmful traditional practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM) by providing education and support activities for community based groups to address the health and rights of African women and girls.
African Well Woman Clinic
AWWC is based at Guy and St. Thomas's Hospital and specialises in reversing FGM and treating FGM complications. The clinic can be contacted on 020 8869 2880
Agency for Culture and Change Management
The ACCM are a Sheffield-based campaigning and support organisation, which have several projects dealing with FGM, including the African Well Woman Clinic, a specialist clinic offering gynaecological and obstetric care for women who have undergone FGM.
